Although today was a very nice New Years Day Rooster Net with over 100 check-ins. One Rooster was missing in action and has been sorely missed for several months. It is with great sadness that I have to report that James Richard “Dick” Hanna K3VYY, Rooster# 1360, who crowed in on July 30, 2013 passed away Saturday evening December 30 2017 after battling cancer. Dick and his wife Pam, WB3BHJ, were active in organizing the western Pennsylvania Rooster Luncheons. Dick and Pam lived in Beaver Falls, PA
Please keep Pam in your thoughts and Prayers. There will probably be an obituary in the Beaver Times newspaper www.timesonline.com/obituaries orwww.legacy.com/obituaries/local/pennsylvania/beaver-falls-obituaries in the next couple days.
Dick and Pam are on the extreme right in the back and front row respectively of the first picture taken at the Iron Bridge Inn on August 20, 2016. He and his wife can also be seen along with Joe, AA3YE in the second picture.
It is with great sadness that I have to report that Joe McGrath (uncle Joe) K3UYK Rooster # 1130 passed away on Thursday 10/10/2019 after battling cancer.
